2nd Period Blog... My Three Goals Aug5th

 

I want to make it through the whole school year with LESS then 5 absences to be excused out of finals. Another accomplishment I want to achieve is passing all my classes with at least a "B" Or above. Lastly I want to become a successful tattoo artist when I finish school.

Prompt Response:  Something I need to improve on is doing my blogs every single day after class or after school. Another thing I want to improve on moving forward is showing up to school on time all the time so meaning keeping my attendance good. 2nd period blog, Aug 31th: Reflect on a time when you discovered a new perspective that completely changed how you viewed a person, group, or place. How did your previous “single story” shape your thoughts or actions?

  Prompt Response:  I learned that judging people based on stereotypes can be unfair. As a young Mexican student, I know people can make assumptions about others because of their background. Summary: A single story can create stereotypes because it does not show the full picture. Reflection:  I learned to get to know people before judging them to understand different perspectives.
