2nd period blog, Aug 31th: Reflect on a time when you discovered a new perspective that completely changed how you viewed a person, group, or place. How did your previous “single story” shape your thoughts or actions?

 Prompt Response: I learned that judging people based on stereotypes can be unfair. As a young Mexican student, I know people can make assumptions about others because of their background.

Summary: A single story can create stereotypes because it does not show the full picture.

Reflection: I learned to get to know people before judging them to understand different perspectives.

  What has been going well for you, what has been challenging, and what is one thing you need to improve moving forward? Prompt Response:  Something I need to improve on is doing my blogs every single day after class or after school. Another thing I want to improve on moving forward is showing up to school on time all the time so meaning keeping my attendance good. Summary: Doing this will keep me successful and stay on top of my school work. If I keep going to school on time and don't get absent I can be exempt from my finals at the end of the year. Reflection:  I will do this things to further more improve and graduate on time for my senior year.
